BAIA DI SORGETO,  ISCHIA Ischia is one of the most geologically interesting places in all of Italy, as evidenced by Baia di Sorgeto. Admittedly, we’re cheating a bit to call this one a beach. The small, rocky bay sits at the bottom of a daunting set of stairs, where shallow pools are heated by thermal water bubbling out of the seafloor.
