"THERE IS SOMETHING PAGAN HERE" The spine of the peninsula is the Lattari Mountains, which cascade from peaks of well over 1,000 feet straight into the Tyrrhenian Sea, in a series of precipitous valleys. From the village of Bomerano, I set off on foot along the Sentiero degli Dei, the Path of the Gods, which crosses high pastures and distant stone terraces to Nocelle.
