THE AMALFI COAST, WHERE THE BEST LEMONS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE Basically, the flowers can be seen almost all year round. Depending on the variety, the harvest begins in March and lasts until July. The “Sfusato Amalfitano” has a particularly elongated, tapered shape that resembles a spindle, hence the Italian name “Sfusato”. The unusually large, fragrant lemons, weighing at least 100 grams, are among the oldest varieties and have a thick, not so bitter pith, few seeds and a yield of at least 25% volume in the juice.
