VILLA DEI MISTERI, THE ANTE-LITTERAM HYPERPINIAN The project began in 1996, a collaboration between the Pompeii’s archaeological authority and the Mastroberardino winery. The Villa dei Misteri [Rosso Pompeiano IGT, Mastroberardino, Atripalda, Campania] 2011 vintage was produced from a blend of 40 per cent Aglianico, 40 per cent Piedirosso and 20 per cent Sciascinoso, and it is this blend that more or less continued until the project ceased in 2021.
