"WE TASTED THE OAK-AGED FALANGHINA FROM THE BARREL" 95% of all Falanghina produced in Italy, is produced in Campania, and 80% of that in Benevento. In Sannio it is mostly the Benevento variety. In their youth the wines have aromas of banana, apple, lemon blossoms, and eucalyptus. Falanghina can age very well and will develop notes of clove, pineapple, pine needles, and saltiness.
