THREE WOODEN BOATS: ART, MIGRATION, AND MEMORY IN NAPLES The boats as a crucifix and its refection on modern day conditions. Positioned at the centre of the square and appearing partially submerged in the ground, the installation overlooks the Port of Naples, bringing West Africa and the Mediterranean into dialogue – two regions connected by centuries of exchange and passage.
