POMPEII COMES BACK TO LIFE, WITH ITS FRESCOES AND ITS ICONIC PAINTED DECORATIONS The title ‘The Villa of Mysteries’ alludes to the ruins of an ancient Roman house found in the excavation of Pompeii. The charm of the past, of a city like Pompeii - their lavish decorations - its history, places and traditions: all of this lives on, reinterpreted in a contemporary way and with an eye on the future, in the Nuova Pompei collection of wallpapers by the designer Vito Nesta for Misha.
