WELCOME TO THE VILLAGE OF TAURASI IN IRPINIA While I love all the wines of this region, I’m here to study Taurasi (est. in 1970) and Taurasi DOCG (est. 1993), which are derived from the red grape Aglianico. I can still recall my first Aglianico, in Florida over the holidays. My only regret is that I discovered them only five years ago. I have some lost time to make up for (which I made progress on today after sampling 50+ examples). Do you know Taurasi and its signature grape, Aglianico? | Kristy's Wine Travels
