The 'super Museo del Sannio' is about to be born, an evolution of the province's most important exhibition site. A place that will soon become even richer thanks to the prestigious Egyptian section. The Rocca dei Rettori will become an art gallery. The exhibition will follow historical eras: starting from prehistory and protohistory immediately after entering the Cloister of Santa Sofia, exhibits from the Samnite, late antique, Lombard, early medieval ages, up to more recent times.
