TIBERIUS IS STILL WATCHING FROM THE CLIFFS Capri’s mountaintop Certosa di San Giacomo is where artist Conor Mccreedy majestically reawakens imperial Rome with Imperial Blues, a 12-piece oil series set at the heart of Tiberius’s dark reign. A site-specific project installed in the cloister, gateway to the new Archaeological Museum of Capri. The exhibition features oil portraits of Roman emperors, which establishes a strong dialogue with the site’s rich historical heritage and the dramatic surroundings.
