OBSIDIAN FROM NEOLITHIC SHIPWRECK RECOVERED OFF CAPRI A team of police divers from Naples recovered the obsidian block from the seafloor near the Italian island of Capri. Is the first artifact from the wreck to be recovered, but others are expected to be found in the same area. The natural glass was once part of a cargo carried on a vessel more than 5,000 years ago.
